On Friday 29 August 2025, from 16:00, in Piazza Giardini in Gallio will be held "Cheese from antiquity to the present day", a special event dedicated to the ancient art of cheesemaking.

During the activity, adults and children will be able to discover the magic of transforming milk into cheese through a live demonstration, curated by the Terre Alte association, which will illustrate the ancient Cimbrian processing with vegetable rennet. Participants will be able to observe the "cheesemaker" at work, ask him questions and listen to stories related to a millenary tradition.

It will also be possible to participate in the workshop "Let's make butter" during which, using traditional techniques, participants will make a stick of butter to take home as a tasty souvenir of the experience.

An opportunity to learn while having fun, rediscovering ancient knowledge and authentic tastes, in close contact with those who still preserve this precious art today.
