DESTINATION: Roana – Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Event co-financed and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Roana and the Municipal Administration of Roana.
An excursion to discover the evolution of the landscape between nature and history in Roana.
What to expect:
- an excursion through meadows, woods and districts of Roana to awaken your senses and enjoy the well-being that the mountain can give.
- panoramas and vast scenery over the Valdassa and the central basin of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
- a walk along ancient routes connecting the upper area of the Roana mountains and the center of the village to explore the mountain life of yesterday, today and tomorrow...
- the visit to places of the Great War and that have been touched by the Vaia Storm and its indirect effects such as the ongoing infestation of the bark beetle. How will this landscape evolve?
A guided journey through the past, present and future perspectives of these mountains to live an exciting experience in the company of Asiago Guide!

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop, suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The difference in height is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections and it does not present particular technical difficulties.
🎒WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat.
🫰COST: €5 for the guided excursion per person. Free for residents in the municipality of Roana.
🧭MEETING POINT: 3.00 p.m. in Piazza Santa Giustina di Roana in front of the Pro loco headquarters.
