META: Selvart Mezzaselva di Roana – Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
The event is co-financed and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva and the Municipal Administration of Roana.
A fascinating excursion to discover the evolution of the landscape between nature and works of art in Mezzaselva
What to expect:
- an immersion in the Forest that will involve all your senses from the balsamic scents of the fir woods and the freshness of the undergrowth, the voice of the birdlife and the colors of mountain flowers to enjoy the well-being that only nature can give.
- the discovery of the evolution of the mountain landscape to understand the deep connection between man and nature over the centuries by reading the signs on the territory left by the Great War, the Vaia Storm and its indirect effects such as the ongoing bark beetle infestation.
- A path where art and nature meet... Selvart

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop, suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The difference in height is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections and it does not present particular technical difficulties.
🎒WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, headlamp (if in possession, possibly with a steady red light).
🫰COST: €5 for the guided excursion per person. Free for residents in the municipality of Roana.
🧭MEETING POINT: 5.30 p.m. in front of the office of the pro loco of Mezzaselva
Transportation by car (own vehicle) on asphalt road of 5 minutes necessary.
