Destination: the mountain huts of Foza - 'Altopiano di Asiago Sette Comuni

Get ready for a guided excursion that will take you from the pasture to the table, revealing every secret of the prized Asiago Cheese Mountain Product. 

Immerse yourself in the high-altitude pastures, where the guide will show you the properties of the herbs that give the milk its superior quality, all surrounded by breathtaking 360° views ranging from the Dolomites to the Lagorai.

You will discover the real life in the mountain pastures and the tradition of the malga, including anecdotes and curiosities about cheese production, including that of the ancient Pegorin made from sheep's milk. You will pass through historic mountain huts such as Ristecco, Meletta Davanti and Slapeur, real treasures to admire and preserve.

A taste of cheese of different ages cannot be missed.

📈DIFFICULTY  We assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route is a ring and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill difference in height is about 350 m, there are no exposed sections and it does not present any particular technical difficulties.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.

🫰COST: €20 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.

NB INDICATE ON NOTES THE PRESENCE OF CHILDREN UNDER 15 YEARS OF AGE WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE AGE.

Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
