DESTINATION: Castelloni di San Marco – Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

We leave the cars near Malga Fossetta and from here through a mountain path we will enter the woods towards one of the most beautiful and well-known places of the Asiago 7 Municipalities plateau: the Castelloni di San Marco.

Off the usual paths, where the mobile phone has no reception and the sounds of civilization are just a memory, Nature envelops us and gives us unique emotions.

We will cross these labyrinths of limestone rock shaped over the centuries by water. 

A place that has always fascinated man and that in history has also been used as a refuge, for example for the partisans during the Second World War.

Walking among the colorful flowers of the high mountains we will get to walk through a real natural labyrinth and the packed lunch will be consumed in a panoramic point of rare splendor on the Valsugana and the Alpine arc from the Dolomites to the Lagorai ...

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 4 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 400 m there are little exposed sections.

TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, PACKED LUNCH, long pants recommended.

COST: 20€ for the guided excursion per person. 5€ for children under 15 years.

Moving by car, with your own vehicle on a dirt road necessary.
