Thursday 17 August 2023, at the Palazzetto Polifunzionale di Canove, we will be able to participate in an interesting meeting with the CAI Vicenza. Starting at 20:30, we will have the opportunity to get to know the world of canyoning, a discipline that allows us to explore and overcome the natural obstacles of waterways, immersing ourselves in breathtaking scenery and experiencing strong emotions. It is a water sport that consists of descending on foot narrow gorges (canyons or gorges) crossed by small streams, without the aid of a dinghy or canoe (so it should not be confused with other water sports such as rafting, kayaking, hydrospeed or canoeing).

During the event, the experts of CAI Vicenza will illustrate the fundamental characteristics of this fascinating sport in close contact with nature, share their experiences with us and provide us with valuable advice on safety and equipment necessary to practice canyoning responsibly. 

The event is free admission. 

It will be the perfect opportunity to approach an exciting and adventurous discipline, both for beginners and for those who already practice canyoning.
