On Wednesday 30 July 2025, at 5:30 pm, at the Council Chamber of Gallio, a meeting will be held with the author Luca Trevisan, on the occasion of the presentation of his latest novel, "Fragile Seasons", published by Cierre Edizioni.
Luca Trevisan (Vicenza, 1976) is a full Olympic Academician and PhD in History of Modern Art at the University of Verona, where he has been carrying out research since 2005. Author of numerous studies on Venetian architecture – in particular on Palladio, Scamozzi and the civilization of the Venetian villa – he was able to combine academic competence with a deep passion for the mountains and the culture of the highlands, with particular attention to the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
In his novel Fragile Seasons, Trevisan tackles very topical themes: the crisis of personal identity, the search for roots and the link between man and the mountain landscape. The protagonist, Sergio, is a precarious journalist in the midst of an existential crisis, who finds in the Plateau the way to reconnect with himself, through the encounter with the people, the stories and the memory of a mountain that changes and confronts its "fragile seasons". An intense, profound story, which moves between a bildungsroman, historical and environmental reflection, and which touches on universal themes such as belonging, social transformation and the resilience of mountain communities.
The meeting will be an opportunity to get to know the author up close and dialogue on a work that intertwines literature, history and territory, offering food for thought on the present and future of mountain areas.
To dialogue with the author will be Michela Valsecchi.
Free admission subject to availability.
An event not to be missed for those who love the mountains, culture and stories that know how to speak to the heart.
