Monday, July 25 , 2022, asiago, will hold an interesting literary meeting with Senator Manuel Vescovi, who will present his book "United States of Italy – Objective 2028", published by StreetLib, with a preface by Paolo Del Debbio.

The meeting will be held in Piazza Duomo and will begin at 17:30.

In case of bad weather the appointment will take place at the Teatro Millepini.

THE BOOK

"Convinced of how a country can be governed seriously only when you have a vision - as often happens abroad - I propose a long-term vision also in Italy. The basic thought is that to reverse the trend of decline that our society has long taken it is necessary to put its hand to its constitutional revision. 

What we should be able to retire is the system, encrusted and crystallized in society, based on inertia, on brotherhoods even before on clientele, small concessions to friends, which together create the avalanche. In their place, merit, respect for skills, commitment and professionalism should be promoted. 

It is therefore not the people who have to be scrapped, but the now obsolete structures. We should be able to define a country project,  working with foresight and setting long-term objectives, to be used as a reference framework within which to develop projects and initiatives. We have launched a proposal and it is contained in our draft constitutional law. It's called the United States of Italy." Manuel Vescovi
