Saturday 29 July 2023, in Mezzaselva di Roana, a meeting will be held, entitled "The art of Vaia", with the highland sculptor Marco Martalar, who in recent years has created impressive works of art using the remains of trees destroyed by the terrible Vaia storm of 2018.

"I am a man of the woods, after Vaia I found myself walking in my mountains and meeting at every step torn trees, uncovered roots ... Soon the discouragement turned into inspiration: I wanted to heal the wound of nature by transforming it into a work of art that would preserve its memory but also give a sign of hope and rebirth". The meeting will start at 20:30 at the schettinaggio camp and will last about 1 hour and a half, until 22:00.

Free event , reservation required  .

The event will take place even in case of bad weather.
