On Saturday, December 28 , 2024, in Mezzaselva di Roana, an interesting meeting will be held, entitled "The art of Vaia", with the highland sculptor Marco Martalar, who in recent years has created impressive works of art using the remains of trees destroyed by the terrible Vaia storm in 2018.

"I am a man of the woods, after Vaia I found myself walking in my mountains and meeting uprooted trees and uncovered roots at every step... Soon discouragement turned into inspiration: I wanted to heal the wound of nature by transforming it into a work of art that would preserve its memory but also give a sign of hope and rebirth". Cit. The match will start at 20:30 at the schettinaggio field (in front of Zanzibar) and will last until about 22:00.
