The "L'estate di Ghel" festival continues with an appointment with a more intimate and reflective tone, designed for the little ones but also able to touch adults.
On Wednesday 6 August 2025, at 16:00, at the Sala Verde in Gallio, there will be an animated reading inspired by the delicate illustrated book "I remember... The most important things are never forgotten", by Jeanne Willis and Raquel Catalina, which tells with sweetness and sensitivity the deep bond between a child and his grandmother, who often forgets things, but not love.
A tender and moving story that tactfully introduces the theme of senile dementia, transmitting messages of empathy, affection and awareness to children, with a careful look at everyday life and the value of family ties.
Afterwards, as always, there will be a short playful-creative activity, during which the children will be able to elaborate what they have heard with drawings and games, in a moment of personal expression and sharing.
The initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Gaby Books Publishing House, specialized in illustrated books for children.
