A snowshoe walk to discover an enchanted landscape, where beech trees create a magical atmosphere. Did you know that beech forests are considered real "temples of nature"? Their environment promotes physical and mental well-being. Conclude the experience with a convivial typical lunch at the Biancoia Refuge.
What to expect:
- Guided snowshoeing: live an experience in the snow
- Beech forests in winter: discover naturalistic curiosities and anecdotes about the local culture and traditions linked to the woods of the plateau.
- Well-being: reduce stress with a forest immersion and regenerate in contact with nature.
- Lunch (optional): at the end of the excursion it is possible to stop for lunch at the Biancoia Refuge to taste the following menu in company:
--Spoon polenta, cheese fondue from the Plateau and mushrooms
--Risotto with seasonal vegetables
--Grandma's Cake
--water and wine included.
Reservations are required.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route does not present any particular technical difficulties. The uphill elevation gain is less than 270 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence - absence of ice / snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion or hot tea, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, sunglasses.
🫰COST: €20 for the guided snowshoe hike per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person.
Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
🍽 LUNCH COST: €20 per person at the Biancoia Refuge for the above menu.
