DESTINATION: Val Formica - Larch Area - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)

Immerse yourself in the magic of Val Formica, one of the most evocative areas of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities. On a morning snowshoe hike, you will explore enchanted forests, vast scenery and admire breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks of the Alps.

You will discover the history of these places, marked by the settlement of the Cimbri and the events of the Great War. 

You will observe the tracks of wild animals and breathe in the pure mountain air, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 

A unique experience for nature and history lovers.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route does not present any particular technical difficulties. The uphill elevation gain is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.

The route may be subject to variations due to the presence - absence of ice / snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with hot water or tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, cap, gloves, sunglasses.

🫰COST: €20 for the guided snowshoe hike per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders. 

Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person. 

Participants will be offered a taste of local products. 

In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
