On Thursday, July 31, 2025, you can take part in a fascinating guided hike to discover "The splendid mountain huts of Mount Ongara", in the company of Alexplora.

The departure is scheduled for 9:30 am, with a route of about 8 km, of medium-easy difficulty. 

During the excursion, Alex, a regularly qualified tourist and environmental hiking guide, will lead you along the paths of Mount Ongara (or Longara), to discover its characteristic mountain huts and traditions related to the mountain pastures.

This excursion offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Plateau of the 7 Municipalities and to get to know the life and work of the mountain huts up close.
