Destination: the woods and meadows of Asiago

An adventure through the woods and meadows of Asiago gives us unforgettable memories thanks to the magical encounters with the inhabitants of the mountain and the light of the sunset that accompanies us.

The call of the tawny owl, the fleeting steps of roe deer, the scent of wild herbs and the bright fluttering of many insects that are nothing short of magical... the fireflies!

In search of fireflies, an evening full of surprises, in the darkness of the mountain, wrapped in a dim light, ready to experience magical emotions!

Reservations are required. 

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging).

The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads and a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic. 

The uphill elevation gain is less than 220 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate (long trousers warmly recommended), waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, head torch with fixed red light.

🫰COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person. €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.

🧭MEETING POINT: 8.30 pm at the parking lot in Via Villa Rossi, Asiago (VI) -  

We start on foot from the meeting place.

Depending on the weather conditions of the days before the excursion, the location may undergo changes to have a greater chance of meeting fireflies.
