GOAL: Piana di Marcesina - Valmaron - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

The soft lights of the sunset accompany our entry into the Piana di Marcesina, where we will be immersed in a context where time seems to have stopped and where man from prehistoric times to the present day coexists with what mountain nature offers him.

When darkness falls, the dark profiles of the Alps and the surreal atmosphere given by the moonlight on the snow will give us strong emotions...

The guide will entertain you with interesting scientific curiosities and popular tradition about the Moon, the queen of the evening! 

At the end of the snowshoe hike, we arrive at the Barricata Refuge. The typical à la carte dinner, including first course, second course, side dish, dessert, water, wine and coffee that awaits us will be a convivial moment. 

The return will be with a snowmobile tour !

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route runs through mountain paths and dirt roads. 

The difference in height is less than 220 m, there are no exposed sections.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the hike, a small snack such as dried fruit, headlamp possibly with a steady red light. 

WARNING: It is advisable to dress in layers and to have warm clothing, also recommended a blanket,  for the return by snowmobile.

COST: €60 for the guided snowshoe hike, dinner at the Barricata Refuge (including the above) and return by snowmobile. 

Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person. 

MEETING POINT: 4.00 p.m. at the parking lot of the Valmaron Refuge, Enego (VI)
