Sunday 18 February 2024 between 16.00 and 22.00
GOAL: Piana di Marcesina - Valmaron - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
We leave at sunset to conclude at night an unforgettable snowshoe hike that will lead us through the suggestive Piana di Marcesina, Here our steps will lead us to immerse ourselves in a suggestive landscape created by the moonlight that reflects on the snow. The guide will entertain you with anecdotes about the nature and history of this area and interesting scientific curiosities and the tradition of the Moon!
At the end of the snowshoe hike, in the warmth of the fireplace of the Barricata Refuge, a typical dinner awaits us with an à la carte menu, including first course, second course, side dish, dessert, water, wine and coffee.
"But will there still be lovers who, on a winter's night, will be transported on a sleigh pulled by a generous horse across the plain of Marcesina soaked in moonlight?
If they weren't there, how sad the world would be."
These are the words of the writer Mario Rigoni Stern... so to make the world a little less sad, we propose the return to the Piana di Marcesina by snowmobile at the end of dinner!
