"Marcesina, rebirth of a Plain" and Legambiente Green Flag award ceremony - Enego, 26 August 2023

Saturday 26 August 2023, in Enego, at the Palace of Culture and Tourism, starting at 20:30, the conference "Marcesina, rebirth of a Plain" will take place followed by the ceremony of delivery of the Green Flag of Legambiente.

The Municipality of Enego, in fact, was awarded by Legambiente for the important forest restoration project and the redefinition of the pastures of the Marcesina Plain launched following the devastating Vaia storm, which hit the plateau in the autumn of 2018. 

The green flag ceremony will be a moment of celebration and gratitude for all those who participated in these important initiatives. 

THE PROGRAM OF THE EVENING:

  • Presentation evening with the speaker and president of Legambiente Veneto, Dr. Luigi Lazzaro 
  • Green flag delivery to the Mayor of Enego Marco Frison for the most virtuous common award ceremony
  • Scientific illustration of the project promoted by FITT by Giustino Mezzalira Forestry doctor with multimedia supports
  • Cultural finale with readings of texts concerning our territory
