From 1 to 24 November 2024, the Le Carceri Museum in Asiago will host the exhibition "POP ART: I HAVE SEEN THE BEST MIND OF MY GENERATION", a fascinating exhibition dedicated to the Paduan artist Sergio Da Molin.
The exhibition, which will be inaugurated on Friday 1 November at 11:00 am, presents over fifty works that tell the story of Da Molin's artistic career, characterized by the fusion of references to the Pop Art of the 60s and 70s with a deeply personal and critical vision of contemporary society.
Influenced by iconic figures such as Warhol and Rauschenberg, Da Molin uses techniques such as screen printing and the use of enamels and oils to create secular icons, imbued with meanings and symbolism. Through the juxtaposition of images and everyday objects, the artist conveys an intense vision of reality, where modern myths and mass consumption become objects of observation and criticism.
His works, with bold colors such as white, blue and red, recall both Anglo-Saxon culture and social denunciation. The artist proposes a visual and conceptual journey that explores the myths, symbols and contradictions of society, bringing to light a subtle and poetic critique of our time.
