DESTINATION: Monte Longara - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Set off to discover winter landscapes on a guided snowshoe hike in the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities. Immerse yourself in enchanted woods, admire 360° panoramas and discover the traces of the Great War.
What to expect:
- Views from the Alps to the Apennines: from Monte Cimone to the Little Brenta Dolomites and the Marmolada, a panorama that will excite you.
- Wildlife: Explore snowy forests and pastures, discovering the tracks of mountain animals.
- History of the Great War: Discover the signs left by the First World War and immerse yourself in the history of the Plateau.
- Stories, anecdotes and curiosities about the area told by those who live in the Plateau!
Combine the beauty of nature with the discovery of history and experience a Mountain of Emotions!

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop, does not present any particular technical difficulties and there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The uphill elevation gain is less than 300 m, the length does not exceed 7 km.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence - absence of ice / snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion or hot tea, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, sunglasses.
🫰COST: €20 for the guided snowshoe hike per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person.
Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
