Saturday, 27 December, at 16.00 hours, the Council Hall of the municipality of Asiago will host the ceremony of photo contest "Mario Rigoni Stern.
The competition, organised by the Scientific Committee Veneto Friuli and Giuliano of the Italian Alpine Club and the CAI Sections of Mirano (VE) and Bassano del Grappa (VI), is now in its third edition, after the great success of the previous two appointments.
Experts have challenged photographers in an exciting race, taking stunning photographs and immortalizing the natural beauty of the plateau.For this year, the theme to be followed was "seasons: evocations of the Italian mountains in four seasons".
The winners (1°, 2° and 3° place and best picture) will win a plaque and a sum of money. In addition to the first three winners, five other photographers, chosen for their particularly deserving picture, will be rewarded with a naturalistic book.
Following the opening of the exhibition "Seasons – evocations of the Italian mountains throughout the year" at the Sporting Residence. The exhibition will remain open from 27/12 to 1/6/15 with working hours 17.00-19.00.
