Destination: Ekar peak - Asiago (VI)
Discover the magic from the Asiago Plateau under a starry sky with a guided excursion in the company of an amateur astronomer and astronomical observation with a telescope!
What to expect:
- Evening excursion: immerse yourself in the evocative atmosphere of the Plateau at sunset and discover where the Cima Ekar Observation Station is located.
- Panoramic route: along the ridge of Cima Ekar we arrive at the giant yellow bench with a 360° panorama from the Little Dolomites to Monte Grappa.
- Observation with telescopes: observe the stars, and other celestial bodies with the guidance of the Asiago Guide Amateur Astronomer!
- The secrets of the universe between science and mythology thanks to the stories of the guide!
- Shooting Stars: with a little luck there will also be the opportunity to witness the passage of the Lyrids meteor shower!

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties, there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads.
The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m.
🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, any head torch (recommended with a fixed red light).
🫰COST: €20 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.

The meeting place may be subject to change, this will be communicated to those booked the day before the event. At the meeting point there are no services (bar, toilet ..).
