On Friday, September 13 , 2024, at 8:30 p.m., a special event will be held at the Cineghel in Gallio on the occasion of the centenary of the Gallio Alpine Group. The evening will be dedicated to the historiographical presentation of the Gallio Alpine Group, curated by Prof. Finco, who will illustrate the history and exploits of this important group.

Afterwards, there will be the screening of the original version of the film "I Recuperanti" by Ermanno Olmi, conceived and scripted together with Tullio Kezich and Mario Rigoni Stern, a work that tells the events of the second post-war period on the Asiago Plateau, offering an authentic and moving portrait of the life and work of recovering the metal war remnants of the Great War in our mountains.

This event represents a unique opportunity to celebrate the 100 years of history of the Gallio Alpine Group, through an in-depth presentation and a film screening of great artistic value.
