On Thursday, August 8, 2024, the 80th Anniversary of a very sad historical date for the Roano hamlet is celebrated in Camporovere di Roana: on August 8, 1944, in the midst of World War II, the Nazi-Fascists set fire to 74 houses in Camporovere; They were stopped thanks to the parish priest of the time who managed to convince the German soldiers not to continue their intent of destruction.
At 6:00 p.m. the Holy Mass will be celebrated at the Church and, afterwards, the traditional commemoration of the fire of '44 will be held.
