SCHELLA MARZ to Cesuna, the traditional parade to greet the spring. the March 31, 2014

Monday 31 March 2014 Cesuna back to the traditional festival Schella Marz (cimbro Sounds March); the event will take place from 19.00 hours departing (and arrival) until piazzale Ex Stationof Cesuna, Roan fraction.

The Festival is presented annually as a loud and cheerful greeting the arrival of the spring season, after the cold winter months.  Long rows of bandoni, schelle and what will be run through the streets of the village and a no-brainer, children and adults.

And as usual, the "vecia" will be torched as symbolizing the old season fades.

This is a recognised occurrence throughout the area, and to Cesuna is honored with a few weeks of delay: the Sun, indeed, blocked by hills that surround the hamlet, fails to dissolve immediately Frost and snow , pausing longer, postpone the spring fling.
