Sunday 14 January 2024 between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm
GOAL: Forte Campo Luserna - Alpe Cimbra
Snowshoeing through enchanted snowy landscapes, we discover nature, traditions and events of the Great War in the winter season, but with a slightly different eye... that of the Italian-speaking Austrians.
For centuries and centuries, the Plateau has been a territory on the border between two worlds... realities that have clashed several times in history, leaving visible signs of conflicts in the landscape.
The Fort of Campo Luserna still bears the shots of the Italian artillery that in a short time in the spring of 1915 hurled at least 5000 shots on the structure.
The dense forest also hides other war structures, but not only... from time to time animal silhouettes and anthropomorphic figures appear that lead us towards the views of Valdastico and then continuing to the village of Luserna.
Reservations are mandatory.
