As part of the calendar of "Su, in Malga!", the summer festival promoted by the Municipality of Gallio to enhance the culture of the mountain pastures, a suggestive guided excursion to Malga Meletta Lemerle, in the splendid setting of the Melette di Gallio, is scheduled for Monday 21 July 2025.
The activity, scheduled from 8:30 to 12:30, will be conducted by Asiago Guide and will offer participants the opportunity to live an immersive experience among breathtaking views, dairy tradition and authentic flavors.
The mountains, which in winter host the ski slopes, in summer return to be the domain of grazing herds and mountain huts, custodians of ancient knowledge.
It is here that the malga lead the cows among the best wild herbs, rich in aromatic essences and nutritional properties. These plants give the milk unique organoleptic characteristics, which are reflected in the aromas and flavors of the cheese produced on site: a genuine and tasty product, the result of the encounter between good cows, good land and good work.
The winding road to the malga will lead the participants to admire one of the most beautiful views of the plateau, in front of which it will be a real pleasure to taste the uniqueness of the Melette cheese.

The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
