As part of the calendar of "Su, in Malga!", the summer festival promoted by the Municipality of Gallio to enhance the culture of the mountain pastures, a suggestive guided excursion to Malga Camporossignolo is scheduled for Thursday 3 July 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. and returning scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
Accompanied by Asiago Guide, participants will be able to immerse themselves in one of the most authentic and silent corners of the Plateau.
Hidden among the gentle valleys of the southern part of the Asiago Plateau, Malga Camporossignolo opens into a pleasant plain, immersed in the quiet and beauty of nature. A place that, in addition to its rural vocation, preserves deep traces of the past: it was in fact one of the many mountain pastures devastated during the First World War.
In particular, this area was garrisoned by French troops, who had established their base here, as evidenced by the presence, at one time, of a small wooden chapel dedicated to "Notre Dame du Camporossignolo".
But the history of these areas goes far beyond the war: step by step, together with the malga and the guides, it will be possible to discover and taste the secrets and products with a tasty tasting in the malga (with a contribution of € 5 per person).

The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
🫰COST: contribution of € 5 per person for the guided tasting to be paid directly on site.
🧭MEETING POINT: 9.00 a.m. at the Osteria "Fontanella" followed by a short drive with your own vehicle on a dirt road. At the meeting point, not all telephone companies have reception.
