Goal: Rubbio - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities

Immerse yourself in the history and nature of the Asiago Plateau Seven Municipalities with this guided excursion, a little-frequented ring route will lead you from the suggestive Val Pozzuolo to the panoramic Trinceroni di Campolongo. 

Crossing flowery pastures and lush forests, in spring you will be enveloped in a riot of scents, colors and shapes of mountain flowers. Along the way, we'll observe the signs of the presence of different animals that inhabit this area, full of mountain pools, important habitats for amphibians and drinking troughs for wildlife. 

The dominant theme of the day will be revealed by an ancient boundary stone from 1484.  We will listen to anecdotes and historical facts about the agreements between the Serenissima and the Respectable Regency of the Seven Municipalities, which allow us to observe the territory from other perspectives. 

We'll have a picnic lunch at a viewpoint overlooking the plain, and if we're lucky, we'll also be able to see Venice on the horizon.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route develops between mountain paths, dirt roads and a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The uphill elevation gain is less than 350 m.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, any towel to sit on, PACKED LUNCH. 

🫰COST: €25 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders. 

Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
