A dream and a firm Tuesday 24 July 2018, at 21.00 hours, the extreme Mountaineer Marco Confortola recounts the evening Cai "mountain, a friend", to be held at Teatro Eliseo di Asiago.
During the meeting, the expert Mountaineer recounts the expedition to Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain on Earth (8586 m SL m) on the border between Nepal and the Indian State of Sikkim, his 11th eight-thousanders.
A feat that surely deserves to be heard, a must for all fans of mountain and mountaineering.
MARCO CONFORTOLA
Marco Confortola is an avid Mountaineer, Explorer and mountain guide, born on 22 September 1971.
Member of CNSAS (National Alpine and Speleological Corps), participated in several expeditions on the highest mountains in the world.
In May 2008 he participated in the expedition Everest 2008 Share, during which, along with Silvio Mondinelli and Michele Enzio, placed on the Hill South of Mount Everest at 8000 m the highest weather station on Earth.
During the ascent of K2 of 2008, was forced to camp out overnight in a hole at 8300 m, and fortunately, through the help of other climbers have to save it, to reach camp IV and then base camp.
Hospitalized for frostbite, underwent the amputation of all her toes.
After the accident, in 2012 has conquered the Manaslu, in 2013 the Lhotse, Makalu, in 2016 2017 on the top of his tenth eight thousand, on Dhaulagiri.
