Saturday 19 August 2023 from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm
GOAL: Fort Verena
Step by step we enter the fir and larch forest, where we will learn about the main species of plants in the upper area.
Here we follow the main road to the summit of Monte Verena (2020 m) from which you can enjoy an incredible 360-degree panorama that ranges from the Alps to the Po Valley.
The imposing Forte Verena, an Italian war work of the First World War, has dominated this peak for more than a hundred years. Its ruins accompany the visitor on a journey into the past that takes us back to the first days of the war and to deepen various aspects that characterized the "War of the Forts".
In company, in the quiet of the mountains, we can therefore "not forget" and feel even more grateful for these times of peace, with the tranquility and well-being that derives from it and enjoy today, walking through the huts of Mount Verena.
Reservations are required.
