Sunday 9 July 2023 from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm
DESTINATION: Mount Zebio - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
From Val Giardini we climb through a forest of fir and beech trees along paths little traveled by men, but very frequented by wildlife. We stop to observe the signs of presence of mountain animals to understand their habits in this summer season. Even the trees themselves have their own history, a sometimes troubled history and makes us understand more grateful how grateful we can be for the time spent in Nature.
Arriving at the top of Mount Zebio, we will also discover how the area was the scene of fierce clashes during the Great War. Here during his "Year on the Plateau" also fought Captain Emilio Lussu and we will visit the cemetery of his department: the Sassari Brigade.
The guide interpreting today's landscape will take you on a journey through the history of this place to give you an experience in Nature full of emotions!
