On Saturday 20 May 2023 in Enego a tree planting will be held in collaboration with Wownature, in order to restore the forests devastated by storm Vaia in 2018 and by the bark beetle , a dangerous pest that, by removing sap from spruces, is decimating them.

The event will take place in the town of Tombal: it will be a day dedicated to the planting of larches, firs and beeches.

All those who want to adopt a tree and participate in planting will be welcome, as the event is open to the public and aims to connect people with the territory. 

The planting of trees is a simple but important gesture to restore the ecological balance of forests and raise awareness among participants of the importance of safeguarding the natural heritage.

In addition, the planting of trees is an opportunity for mountain lovers to leave a positive trace in the territory of Enego and contribute to the reconstruction of the forests destroyed by storm Vaia and the bark beetle.
