HOGA ZAIT 2022: THE CIMBRO FESTIVAL. WEEKEND 15-17 JULY AND 22-24 JULY 2022

Welcome to the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities. Welcome to Hoga Zait!
It is the greeting and the welcome wish that the Municipality of Roana gives also this summer to its guests and residents on the occasion of Hoga Zait, the traditional Cimbrian festival, which has been taking place for several years now in all the hamlets of the Municipality of Roana.
The mayor Elisabetta Magnabosco and all the Municipal Administration of Roana on the occasion of the festival, welcomes the guests and confirms the appointments of Hoga Zait organized in total safety and re-proposed in large spaces and in contact with nature. In addition to workshops and excursions to the places of the Cimbrian legend, this year it was decided to enhance the Kermesse, through shows that integrate with the artistic and philological line of this festival with such particular contours. Finally, we wanted to thank all those who with their commitment allow the development of this extraordinary event, in addition to the Veneto Region which has always been close in this particular initiative.
This summer Hoga Zait will take place in the two central weekends of July, from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 and from Friday 22 to Sunday 24.
Friday 15 starts in Mezzaselva (Toballe in Cimbrian language) at the Selvart Park in the morning with the treasure hunt proposed by Asiago Guide and in the afternoon with workshop activities by Consuelo Morello "Con poco si fa... l'arte delle creatività", the sunset excursion with Asiago Guide and the typical Cimbrian dinner at the k2 restaurant with musical entertainment by Pierangelo Tamiozzo for end the day with the inaugural propitiatory bonfire of the Hoga Zait Festival 2022 accompanied by schellaträger.
Saturday 16 in Canove (Roan in Cimbrian language) at the Farm "Waister" in the morning will take place the demonstration of the dairy activity and the artistic workshop "Rintocchi dei pascoli" by Consuelo Morello, followed by laboratory activities in the afternoon and the sunset excursion to the bisele locality in the company of Asiago Guide, to conclude the evening with the concert of Maria Roveran who will present her new album "Näuge Beng".
Sunday 17 in Treschè Conca (Kunka in Cimbrian language) at the stable of the "Seia" in the morning there will be a Cimbrian artisan exhibition with typical products and traditional workshops by the exhibitors, followed by trekking with Alpacas by Asiago Guide and workshop activities on wool by Consuelo Morello "Do not lose the thread" and musical entertainment with Ilaria Vellar. In the evening the Cimbrian short film "La Fiamma" will be screened at the Cinema Teatro Palladio Cesuna and a small debate will be held with the director; then some video presentations will be proposed by the Cimbra Cultural Institute of Luserna and the other Cimbrian linguistic islands.
