Asiago - Multi-storey car park will open in April 2021

Work is under way on the construction site for the new underground multi-storey car park that will be built next April in the heart of Asiago. "Everythinggoes on for the best," explains Franco Sella, Councillor for Public Works of the Municipality of Asiago. Currently there are three teams at work: the first is taking care of the throwing of the first attic of the half-parking lot, the second is completing the outer walls of the entire second basement and the third is focused on the foundations. Within ten days, therefore, the works should move to the first basement of the work that began a couple of years ago.

"The goal is to finish the construction site in April 2021," closes Franco Sella. Of course, in order for this forecast to be corrected, there should be no delays related to the weather or a possible second phase of lockdown. I do not rule out, however, in the event that everything should take place in the right direction, that the parking can be opened even a little before the month of April.'

The unexpected discovery of asbestos underground had significantly slowed down the work of the multi-storey, which will contain a total of 178 parking spaces. A delay, therefore, not attributable to the municipal administration or the company that is carrying out the work. Above the parking lot of Via Station, as it is now known, a green area will then be created.
