What is the holiday bonus?

The holiday bonus is an economic contribution of up to € 500 per family, provided for by the Relaunch Decree, to be used for stays in hotels, bed & breakfasts, campsites, tourist villages, farmhouses in Italy, starting from 1 July until 31 December 2020.

Who can claim the holiday bonus?

The holiday bonus can be requested and used by households with an ISEE up to 40,000 euros.
The contribution will have a maximum amount of expenditure different according to the number of people who make up the family, namely:

• 500 € per unit of three or more people
• 300 € from two people
• 150 € from one person

The bonus can also be used by a single member of the family and must be spent in a single solution, at a single tourist accommodation facility in Italy, be it a hotel, a farmhouse, a b & b, a campsite or a tourist village.

How to claim and get the holiday bonus?

The holiday bonus is completely digital.
To request it, from July 1 to December 31, 2020, you need to download the IO app and follow the procedure.

At the time of the application, the SPID credentials will be requested and then the ISEE, so it is necessary, before starting the practice, to be in possession of a SPID (Public Digital Identity System) or CIE 3.0 (Electoral Identity Card) digital identity.

At the end of the procedure, a code will be assigned, which uniquely identifies the bonus of the family unit, and a QR code. It will not be necessary to print them, but it will be sufficient to have them available on the smartphone and communicate them to the hotelier, together with the tax code, at the time of payment of the stay directly at the structure chosen for the holidays.

Of course, the holiday bonus is also valid by booking through Asiago.it, because the Asiago.it portal is limited to putting you in direct contact with the structure and does not directly manage the reservation.
