Award ceremony of Mario Rigoni Stern for literature Conference Saturday April 2, 2016, 2016, Riva del Garda (TN)
After the appointment of the winner and reported last March 14, now is the time of the award of Mario Rigoni Stern.
The ceremony scheduled for Saturday, 2 April to Riva del Garda (TN)- Palazzo dei Congressi, 17 hours – is not only the final and most important phase of the 2016 Edition of the premio Mario Rigoni Stern for Multilingual literature of the Alps, but it is also a time of meeting, reflection and homage to the great writer of Asiago and the themes that in all of his books has faced literary heritage, making them able to transcend the boundaries of the Italian language and of our country.
On the other hand the world narrated by Stern has always been little Ted within political boundaries because the Alps are for centuries an area overlooked by many European Nations and in which many people live. And just to those peoples and their literatures the prize has watched since its inception, choosing a multilingual formula that respects the great cultural heritage that drives this immense geographical space and human.
For this, in a ceremony that will be attended by authorities and cultural personalities of the Alpine World, there will be room for not only the winner and selected members of the literary festival but also for reflections and ideas that touch on key issues for an important area of Italy and across the continent.
The program provides – from 17 – the greeting of the authorities and the Lectio Magistralis entrusted this year to Jeremiah Gios, Professor of agricultural economics.
It will then task of jury-composed by Ilvo Diamanti, Paola Maria Filippi, Mario Isnenghi, Daniele, Paolo Rumiz and coordinated by Margaret Detomas – communicate the reasons for choosing the winner and selected for mentions.
After the surrender of the recognition you can learn all about the winner of the Sixth Edition – Antonio Dancers with "memory Crystals" (Alpinia editions) – thanks to a dialogue on stage.
To conduct and present will be Sergio Fridge, editor-in-Chief of "Il Gazzettino" while over the course of the event, the public will be able to discover some of the most beautiful pages of Mario Rigoni Stern by reading and interpretation of the actor Andrea Carlson.
Besides the winner dancers, will be featured in Singapore also reported that, in alphabetical order, are: Renzo Camp with "blood and frost" (Murcia), Fabio Cavalli with "Edg. The traditional clothing in Val di Fassa"(Istitut Cultural Ladin of Fassa), Pino Loperfido with"the choice of Caesar"(Curcu & Genovese), Matthew Righetto with"Open your eyes"(TEA).
The poster of the events of April 2 is also enriched by a firstfruits made possible by cooperation between the cultural center, the MAG's signature Alto Garda Museum and the Premio Mario Rigoni Stern. This is "Plateau", photographic exhibition by French artist Loïc Séron staged in MAY and the civic hall "g. Craffonara".
Right in the latter venue will take place the inauguration at 16 on Saturday. The exhibition will remain open until April 20.
The view from the subtitle "Desk in the work and in the landscape of Mario Rigoni Stern" makes us know Loïc Séron with work that aims to evoke universal themes that everyone can identifcarsi and that is both the photographic studio of the plateau of Asiago 's poetic excursion in a landscape marked by man.
Driven by the works of the great writer Mario Rigoni Stern, Séron wanted, in four seasons, "give to see" all the signs of a possible harmony between man and nature. This harmony is really existed throughout the centuries on the plateau and still remains in many ways. The writer had made the heart of his work, directly or indirectly: it was for him the only way for individual and collective happiness of mankind. The photos show the eternal beauty of nature, its strength and sweetness, with always, between the lines of the landscape, an evocation, a meditation on man, a local or global scale.

For either type of works vying for jury evaluation, the first world war came out in strong evidence in the 2016 Edition of the Premio Mario Rigoni Stern.
