Who can participate?
The photo contest is open to all those who wish to participate
What is the theme?
The title of the competition "Fort Corbin: an 80-year journey" celebrates a special anniversary for the history of the fortress. The theme of the competition is precisely the Corbin Fort, which will be highlighted by the photographs in the race, which must represent it.
Terms and conditions of participation
Participation in the competition is free: to register, simply send the photographs to the e-mail address indicated ([email protected]), accompanied by the author's name and surname, telephone number and title of the work. The deadline for submitting images is December 1, 2022.
Each author can send a maximum of 5 shots in total, both in color and in b / w. Photographs must not show people's faces. The format of the photographs can be vertical or horizontal, .jpg format with a resolution of not less than 8 Mb and digital reworkings will also be accepted.
Participation in the competition automatically implies the unconditional acceptance of these regulations and the granting of the right of reproduction of the photographs by the organizers (Forte Corbin) for the realization of the exhibition and any paper or web publications for dissemination purposes. Photos bearing copyright, signatures or other indications that are not those indicated will be excluded.
How will the award ceremony take place?
After the deadline for submitting the photographs, a specially constituted jury will meet, view the works anonymously and identify those to be admitted to the competition and those to be awarded (the first three classified works will be awarded). All the admitted photos will be exhibited in a group exhibition entitled "FORTE CORBIN: UN CAMMINO LUNGO 80 ANNI" which will be set up at the fortress from January to March 2023.
The judgment will take into account the relevance to the theme and the quality of the file sent. Compositional choices, graphic research, lighting, chromatic effects and aesthetic taste will be evaluated. The jury's verdict is final and will be communicated personally to the authors of the admitted images and then publicly on the opening day of the exhibition.
The authors of the winning works will be awarded a book voucher worth 100 euros to the first classified, a package of typical highland products to the second and third classified.
