GREAT MUSICAL EVENTS IN THE SUMMER OF GALLIO 2024 - SHOW-EVENT WITH THE ARRIVAL OF MOGOL AND THE NOMADS

"LIVE" APPOINTMENTS ON 13 JULY AND 8 AUGUST

The Municipality of Gallio and the Col (Local Organizing Committee) with the Pro loco of Stuttgart announced today, at a press conference, the great musical eventsthat await citizens, visitors, tourists in the 2024 summer season of Gallio.

The "Poet" MOGOL

The first major event on the calendar is for Saturday, July 13, 2024 with the show "Mogol tells Mogol" and the presence of the great Maestro of Italian song, a reference point for musical production over the last 60 years.

MOGOL, pseudonym of Giulio Rapetti Mogol (Milan, 17 August 1936), will tell his story in an evening, retracing the stages of his exciting career between music, anecdotes and poetry. He will be accompanied on stage by Gioni Barbera, voice and piano, and the "Historical Band of CET" - Centro Europeo di Toscolano - his school of musical excellence.

The show will be held in the new Piazza Giardini.

NOMADI, 60 years of history

In the heart of the summer period, on Thursday 8 August 2024, Gallio welcomes the band NOMADI in the splendid scenery of the Brotherhood Park (via Kanotele, 13).

The Nomadi 2023/2024 tour, which takes its name from their latest album "Postcards from here" released in May 2023, will stop throughout Italy. The group is the longest-running in Italy and is made up of Beppe Carletti (keyboards, accordion and backing vocals), Cico Falzon(guitars and backing vocals), Massimo Vecchi (bass, vocals), Sergio Reggioli (violin, vocals), Yuri Cilloni (vocals), Domenico Inguaggiato (drums).

«I love small mountain villages and bringing concerts to small towns because there is warmth and hospitality – said Beppe Carletti, historic founder of the band, present at the press conference – Nomadi still have a lot to say. I would like to thank all the members of the group who have taken turns over the years because each of them has marked the history of the Nomads."

Last year, the band celebrated the 60th anniversary of the founding of the group, which today has 53 works including studio records, live albums and compilations, for a total of 16 million copies sold. Alongside this, there is the humanitarian commitment that has seen the Nomads promoters of various solidarity initiatives and numerous charity trips.

After 10 years of work carried out by the administration, we want to continue this line, raising the bar of the tourist offer more and more."

"Gallio is a beautiful place on our Plateau and from year to year we try to present a new and qualified offer to those who choose to come and spend a few days of vacation, but also to those who live here throughout the year," adds Moreno Alberti, Delegate for Tourism.

"We have put all our efforts into bringing to our beautiful location singers loved by all Italians, names of very high stature: it is a great satisfaction to receive them in Gallio and to make them know the beauty of our territory", underlines Sergio Sambugaro, President of Col.

Among the summer events in Gallio, there will also be the inauguration of the new redeveloped public space – Piazza Giardini, the "living room" of Gallio, located between the church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo, the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the Town Hall of Gallio: an area intended to host tourist and cultural events.

The musical events are organized thanks to the collaboration with the Mannoia Eventi agency of Vicenza. For the Nomadi concert, the organization will make use of the logistical support of the nearby Hotel Gaarten.

The purchase of tickets for the two great "live" concerts (Mogol and Nomadi) will be available in the coming weeks through the online platform TicketOne.
