The commemorative stamp issued on the occasion of the centenary of the Ana and the 92 ^ gathering of the Alpini portrays one of the main symbols of the Asiago plateau
The 92nd National Gathering of the Alpini held last Weekend in Milan ended with a Pleasant surprise for theplateau of Asiago!
On the occasion of the centenary of the Constitution of the National Alpine Association, on May 10, 2019 the Ministry of Economic Development has in fact issued a commemorative stamp depicting one of the symbols of our mountains.
The image placed on it depicts the unmistakable green feathered hat of the Alpini Corps, flanked on the left by the Mozza del Monte ortigara column, erected in remembrance of The fallen of the Great War and in particular of Those who fought in the famous Battle of June 1917.
Behind the column there are green stylized silhouettes of some Alpine, while the top is a thin tricolour, accompanied by the logo of the centenary of theNational Alpine Association of ANA.
Above the flag you can read the inscription "100 Years", while under the hat The legend mentions "National Alpine Association", "Italy" and the tariff indication "B".
The sketch of the stamp was Curated by Tiziana Trinca and its circulation was established to be two million and five hundred thousand specimens.
It is printed from the mint of the state in rotogravure on white self-adhesive paper, neutral coated, non-fluorescent. It has jagged edges and its present value is 1.10 euro.
The stamp and the various philatelic products related to it are available at the post offices with philatelic counter, the site poste.it and in the Veneto region at the "Spazio Filatelia" in Venice and Verona.
Towards the end of February 2019 also the philatelic and numismatic office of San Marino had issued a series of three stamps dedicated to THE centenary of the ANA, one depicting two Alpini intent to hold a crown Laurel at the base of the Mozza column of Ortigara.
