On Saturday 25 July 2026, at the Sala Cineghel in Gallio, the final evening of the Festival of first works hosted the award ceremony of the photo competition "My window is a painting... and a mirror", promoted by LoveImmobiliare with the patronage of the Municipality of Gallio in collaboration with the Gallio Film Festival.
The first prize went to "Reflections..." by Laura Beghin, a black and white in which the window becomes both a painting and a mirror, realizing the theme of the competition to the letter. Second place went to "Casa" by Elisa Crestani, where the entire town is reflected in the glass, next to the facing face; third for "L'attesa" by Giorgio Rodeghiero, who shifts his gaze, with irony and affection, to the other inhabitants of the house.
The jury was composed of Prof. Ilaria Serra (Florida Atlantic University), Dr. Donatella Caprioglio (Université Sorbonne Paris Nord and University of Padua), Antonella Corà, Adriana Benetti Longhini and Gianni Rigoni Stern. The award ceremony closed four days of exhibition in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Gallio (22–24 July), accompanied by dialogues with photographers and the conference "Looks. Home, landscape and deep well-being".
The twelve selected works have been donated to the Municipality of Gallio: they will return to the exhibition in 2027 and in February 2027 they will be presented by Prof. Serra at the international symposium "Italy in Transit" at Florida Atlantic University. They will also be published in LoveImmobiliare Magazine, three per issue, starting with the autumn volume.
On the same evening, LoveImmobiliare awarded for the first time the prize for the best set design of the Gallio Film Festival, attributed to "Gioia mia" by Margherita Spampinato, set design by Marinora Ferrandes: an award that combines cinema with the culture of living, in the name of the spaces that tell the lives of those who pass through them.
