Environmental cleaning in the path in the Piana del Prunno in Asiago - Sunday, July 31, 2022
Sunday, July 31, 2022, the Plastic Free Onlus organized a cleanup event attended by 30 volunteers from all over the Veneto and Ferrare with the aim of cleaning up the path in the Piana del Prunno in Asiago.
The spoils of the clenaup were about 150 kg. with small waste thrown by the tourist and waste abandoned specifically such as tires, fire extinguishers, batteries, construction processing waste.
Everything took place with the collaboration of the municipal administration of Asiago thanks to a beautiful synergy that was established in the previous year through the signing of the memorandum of understanding. The Councillor for the Environment Monica Gios supported the Plastic Free Onlus and thanked, there is a great desire on her part to raise awareness among citizens on the importance of environmental respect and the non-profit organization will soon return with other events because they make concreteness and commitment the foundations of their mission.
New cleanup dates on the Plateau are therefore being defined and will be published as soon as they are available here on Asiago.it.
The appointments are open to the public but only through registration (free) for security and insurance reasons.
