The first snow has finally arrived and you can already breathe Christmas air in the Municipality of Roana, thanks to the many initiatives of the six Pro loco. There are many activities proposed to welcome and entertain tourists and residents of all age targets: from children to adults, who wish to spend their holidays or a day in our beautiful Roanese territory.
The Councillor for Tourism and Culture of the Municipality of Roana, Giulia Mosele, considers it important to underline how the associations present in the territory such as the Pro loco are a strong point for the Municipality of Roana, as they are available to collaborate with the territorial realities, which have initiatives always highly appreciated by citizens and tourists. This year for Christmas they are committed to organizing activities and attractions during the Christmas holidays, which will surely give joy to children and even to the older ... Roana, 6 hamlets, 6 wonders. -".
Among the unmissable events returns to Canove the second edition of the "BINTAR ZAIT", which literally means "WINTER TIME" from the ancient "Cimbrian" speech of the plateau. A series of initiatives, concerts, various entertainment and cultural evenings organized by the Pro loco of Canove, among which we remember the most significant:
The opening of the event Saturday, December 10 from 14:00 at the Palazzetto Polifunzionale with various animations, workshops and food stands (cotton candy, apple pancakes and much more). The "Al Volo" Aperitif together with Fabio Ambrosini Bres who presents "L'Altopiano a un passo dal Cielo - Calendario 2023", with the possibility of buying calendars whose proceeds will go to charity. Offers will also be collected for the purchase of defibrillators for the Canove fraction. The closing of the event is scheduled for 20:00.
Evening with Mario Vielmo: I miei 8000 Thursday, December 29 at 20:45 at the Palazzetto Polifunzionale with the story of his fabulous climb.
Witnesses: the men of Giovanni Falcone's Escort Tuesday, January 3 at 20:45 at the Palazzetto in Canove evening of stories and testimonies.
Festa del Bacalà Thursday, January 5 at 19:00 at the Palazzetto Polifunzionale , dinner with the famous Bacalà alla vicentina, in collaboration with the Pro loco of Sandrigo and the Venerabile Confraternita del Bacalà alla Vicentina. Reservation required by December 31 (WhatsApp 379/2905877).
There will also be snowshoeing and guided walks in the mountains, for those who love to immerse themselves in nature and the magic of winter organized respectively by the Pro loco of Mezzaselva together with Asiago Guide towards the Baito Erio; the musical snowshoeing for families and the Snowshoeing in the Moonlight organized by the Pro loco Treschè Conca, to end with the proposals of the Pro loco Cesuna in collaboration with Asiago Guide towards historical-naturalistic paths of Monte Zovetto and Monte Lemèrle.
For the little ones will also arrive Santa Claus and the Epiphany in the various hamlets with many gifts and sweets !!
In the hamlets of Treschè Conca and Cesuna there will also be workshops curated by Cristina (Cason delle meraviglie) concerning the magic of winter and Christmas! With the collaborations of the pro loco.
Finally, there will be cultural evenings and musical and choral concerts.
