Towards the birth of the new municipality of "Lusiana Conco" with 50.39% of Yes in Conco and 74% of Yes to Lusiana.
Yesterday, Sunday 16 March 2018, the citizens of Lusiana and Conco went to the polls to cast their vote with regard to the possible merger of the two municipalities.
With a' turnout was 44% and 46.2% in Conco in Lusiana, the Referendum on merger Lusiana-Conco was successful: the Yes won both to Lusiana, with 870 votes and 306 against, both in Conco where the votes for Yes were 576, compared with 564 cast for the No.
The path to merger Lusiana-Conco is therefore now paved. The Veneto region the final say: it will be the task of the Regional Council to approve, by February, an act to establish the new common 'Lusiana Conco.
