The 20th stage of the tour of Italy will go through the plateau 100°, Foza, gallium, arriving in Asiago

It's official: the tour of Italy 2017 will pass to theAsiago plateau.

The plateau territory will be rewarded by picturesque scenery to stage 20 of the most famous cycling competition and waiting to Italy, that Saturday, May 27, 2017 will depart from Pordenone to Asiago, also going to Foza and Gallium.
A stage, that of Pordenone-Asiago, full of historical references to the great war, which therefore is perfectly in keeping with the spirit of celebrating the Centenary of the tour of Italy.

During the penultimate stage of the tour, cyclists will compete for the coveted pink jersey in a demanding course not only from a physical point of view, but also moral, through territories that, a hundred years ago, were the scene of violence and atrocities and shouldering the weight of memory.
Starting from Pordenone, runners will traverse the lands of Friuli and the rolling hills of Treviso, then toss in the challenging ascent of Monte Grappa; down a stretch of Valbrenta, the athletes will face the effort of 14 km climb leading to Foza, then crossing Gallium and finally giving up in the grand final with arrival in Asiago.

It promises to be a spectacular stage, a unique opportunity for fans of cycling and beyond, that will support the runners with their warm cheering in the streets of Asiago.
