Skating: Asiago hosts the Italian Championships road race and Marathon

Roller skating athletes will compete in an exciting race in Asiago

For the first time, from8 to 11 June ', Asiago becomes capital of skating.

So, after almost a decade (it was the 2008 in Piombino), the skating race back to race on a street circuit in the heart of a town. We're talking about Asiago and its plateau about 1,000 meters above sea level, offers an optimum condition for performance at the highest level.

It will be a unique opportunity to give visibility to the athletes and to the world of skating even in the eyes of the uninitiated that many will crowd the Venitian resort, famous for the scenic green landscapes, history and its gourmet products.

"This is a great opportunity not only to Asiago, but throughout the plateau, to host for the first time a discipline so spectacular in a period of low tourist season -are the words of the Alderman for sport, Franco Saddle-. I hope that not only the dominating the race, but all will come to see the races from Vicenza in the beautiful surroundings of our historic city".

From 8 to 10 June, around piazza Risorgimento and Campbell, will be competing for the Italian road race Championships for Juniors, Cadets, Junior and Senior.

More than 600 athletes will battle to win the prestigious titles. While theJune 11 will be the turn of Italian Marathon Championship for Junior, Senior and Master who will compete in the long run to a location with departure and arrival in piazza Carli, but with passages between streets and inside theairport of Asiago.

The Championships will be seen live streaming on FisrTV during the four days of racing. Organizing the event tricolore is entrusted to "Hockey and Tourism facilities management of Angel Roffo".
