Today I've defined the final details for the start of work on the construction of the new underground parkade via Trento Trieste.
This is apublic work whose final project, to be carried out by means of project finance, was approved by resolution of Council. The concession with the temporary consortium of companies called "Traffic Control Systems s.r. l.", which will provide for the execution of works, was signed on 12/10/2017.
The parking lot is a work that aims to reduce vehicle traffic of the historic center and via Garibaldi in a logic of total road network reorganization of downtown; It is positioned at the end of via Trento and sad near the old station, which now houses the Union Montana, consists of two underground levels for a total of 174 cars, with access from Viale Stazione.
On the surface will be built a large space with playground for children and will be retrained the space dedicated to the gardens in front of the headquarters of Montana, all with a view to the renovation of one of the most important in the town.
"It is a work that we have been waiting for years and which will help to remove traffic from the Center in the tourist seasons and will ease congestion on roads via Trento Trieste. Will result in the doubling of the parking lots already insistent in the adjacent parking lot the ice stadium providing a serious answer to citizens and tourists who need to park their cars in an area adjacent to the Center. Our goal is to make Asiago a modern city and efficient, changing, able to give answers to its citizens and to the many tourists. During the same day, was also signed an additional agreement with SCT which involves issuing chip cards card with validity biennial capable of storing the data of the institution and facilitate certain features of parking meter, which will be released to all residents who request them, for free, to all citizens over the age of 55 years and upon the payment of €8.00 for everyone else.

To meet the needs of all owners of the vignette, it was agreed that every parking meter installed can issue only one subsidized ticket per day, in order to guarantee the right of citizens to make use of more free during the day (parking meters are 20) and to make greater fluency in the use of blue stalls avoiding abuses that have occurred in recent years.
In addition to free half hour for all owners of Vignette was recognized an additional grace period of 10 minutes compared to half an hour. To meet the needs of the many downtown merchants who asked for the activation of subscriptions, the City Government has identified via Monte Valbella establishing yellow stalls that will be granted in concession the annual price of euro 300.00.
The release of the tiles and the activation of the new features of parking meters for the provision of free half hour will take place next Thursday, April 12. Since may, instead, you can make a new APP that will avoid the release of further streamlining pay for parking ticket on concession stalls.
