Saturday, April 23, on Rai 3, will air the second episode of "Ulysses" dedicated to the Veneto. For the occasion, Alberto Angela will stop even on the plateau.
ASIAGO. TheAsiago plateau once again confirms land of excellence, a rich legacy of unique beauties from the naturalistic point of view, gastronomic and historical. Beauty and uniqueness that Saturday 23 April will be part, alongside other enchanting places of the Veneto, from "Ulysses" presented by Alberto Angela.
During the episode that will air Saturday at 21.45 on Rai 3 -the second of two programs dedicated to Veneto, reminiscent of the 150 years after the annexation of the region to the Kingdom of Italy-Angela will depart from Venice to go up to the mountains, crossing theAltopiano dei Sette Comuni.
In particular, the transmission will stop on some symbolic places of the great war, including the Shrine of Asiago and the War Museum in Canove, to move along the battle of Asiago, the fascinating journey of 4444 stairs linking the village of Sasso di Asiago with Valstagna, in Albion.
It will be interesting to follow, under the guidance of trained television presenter, the history of this ancient route was originally used to transport the lumber from the Plateau to the Valley of Brenta, and remember together, on the occasion of the Centennial, the tragic events of 15-18.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 21.45 on Rai 3. For those who cannot follow it, the bet will still be visible on the site of Ulysses.
