Justice gets closer to citizens thanks to a counter in the municipal headquarters

After the activation of the "Telematic Hearing" service created by the Municipal Administration, in collaboration with the Court of Vicenza, the first Highland Proximity Office is coming, an information desk that will have among its main objectives to promote the approach of justice to citizens and offer advice for judicial functions that do not require the support of a lawyer.
"Instead of going to the Court of Vicenza, the citizens of the Municipality of Roana will simply be able to go to their Town Hall to receive free advice on the main institutions of the Voluntary Jurisdiction or to electronically file the applications and related documents through the Telematic Civil Process Platform - explains the Deputy Mayor Christian Vellar. And he continues - The new desk for easier access to the Justice System, strongly desired by our Municipal Administration, will be able to respond concretely to the needs of the community and our territory, if we consider the discomfort and physical distance from the headquarters of the Court of Vicenza, with particular attention to our elderly citizens or in conditions of fragility ".
The intervention strategy provides for a range of preparatory activities for the activation by the Local Authorities of Proximity Offices on the regional territory, which in the Municipality of Roanhave now reached completion and which include: the preparation of the premises, the training of the staff of the Offices, the adaptation of dedicated IT systems and the digitization of open files in the social sphere.
"Thanks go to the Secretariat Office and the Social Services Office who have given their full availability with the usual enthusiasm", specifies the Deputy Mayor Vellar.
"The creation of a series of Proximity Offices on the territory, like the one we are about to activate in our Municipality, will allow citizens to benefit from a Justice System close to their residence, improving its usability both in the headquarters of the ordinary Courts and in the Proximity Offices themselves – declares the Mayor of Roana, Elisabetta Magnabosco - The design choice has particularly affected those realities for which the suppression of judicial offices has generated the greatest impact due to geographical conformation, distances and travel times".
Roana is the first counter of the plateau, one of the 10 already active in the province of Vicenza. The project is part of the " Proximity Offices" plan of the Ministry of Justice, funded by the European Social Fund under the National Operational Programme Governance.
