The municipal administration earmarks 22,000 euros for the Bell Tower of the Duomo of Asiago

Here comes the economic contribution of the municipality of Asiago in costs incurred in securing the Bell Tower of the Cathedral City.

"The work for the consolidation of the monumental belfry became indispensable and urgent because, during an inspection, it was found that the walls above the four arches of the belfry were not equipped with suitable tie-rods - says the Mayor of Asiago, Roberto Rigoni Stern -. Then Push on the four pillars, weakening them. The intervention, the total cost of euro 22,143, has therefore eliminated the problem by placing the necessary steel rods anchored internally in the four corners of masonry".

It is also expected that the replacement of all stained glass window, whose damaged can fall to the ground could create a serious threat to public safety. Finally will be reset to the stair railings and a maintenance of the lighting system.
